Of all the places we’ve travelled one of the days I enjoyed the most was our day in Lahaina in February 2015. It was charming. Absolutely charming. When I saw the news last week about the fire and began seeing the photos and video of the destruction I felt like to took a punch right to the gut.
In light of the losses of last week and the suffering still to come, I’d like to share some of my favorite photos from our day in Lahaina; I continue to pray for the people there, that they will cry out to the Lord, that He will meet their every need in the most unexpected, miraculous ways and that the lost will be found. I have many other prayers over that island/city and expect the Lord and King of the Universe to answer. Thank you, Father for hearing and answering.
